CBD on the Red Carpet

It's no secret — CBD infused oil has made its way to Hollywood, and while many individuals are using CBD for sleep or CBD for anxiety, many celebrities are increasingly using it as their go-to product for many of their wellness and beauty needs. It's no surprise that celebrities have caught on to this mega-trend that's been helping many people experience potential life-changing benefits.

With the 2020 award season approaching, the expectation is that many more celebrities will be using CBD for the upcoming season of Oscars, Grammys, Country Music Awards, Emmys, and more.

CBD and Awards Season

With the newest red carpet season quickly approaching, for celebs, this means hours of wearing uncomfortable heels while:

  • Standing
  • Posing
  • Delivering acceptance speeches

During the award season, many celebrities have reported CBD use to ease the discomfort and pain associated with having to wear high heels on the red carpet.

In fact, Melissa McCarthy, a very high-profile star, is known to have used CBD oil by rubbing it on her feet before she made her way down the red carpet at the 2019 Oscar ceremony. But, she's not the only celebrity using CBD oil on her feet. Some sources say a few celebrity stylists recommend their high-heel wearing clients use hemp-derived oil to prepare for the awards.

One way many celebs in Los Angeles incorporate CBD is by rubbing CBD cream on their feet, since it numbs the pain. Singer and actress Michelle Williams swears by The Lord Jones cream, according to Page Six. Mandy Moore admits trying CBD oil for her aching toes. She said she was going to try some of the CBD infused oil her stylist recommended on her feet, as reported by FN (Footwear News).

Hollywood Reporter revealed that Henry Winkler grabbed a few bath bomb treats for his wife at the Golden Globes HBO gifting suite, and Chloe Grace Moretz admits to being a brand fan.

And this year, there will likely be more industry power players that are advertising cannabis more openly as a part of Oscar party lineups.

About CBD

CBD, which stands for cannabidiol, might come from the cannabis plant, but it doesn't have any psychoactive effects like tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and it's legal throughout the United States.

CBD has been used for various potential health benefits like pain, and even sleep disorders.

Since 2018 when cannabis was legalized in California, and with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, celebrities and their stylists have started to become more and more open to using CBD as an anti-inflammatory, non-psychoactive healing addition to their foot creams that help tackle the pain from wearing high heels, as well as using it in other beauty and hair care products.

How a CBD-Infused Pillow Can Help You

While some celebrities at awards use CBD oil to numb their high-heel wearing pain, and add to their beauty regimen, CBD has so many other potential healing properties. For instance, you can cuddle up to a CBD pillow, and small microdoses of CBD will be released into your body from the friction caused by rubbing your hair and skin on the pillow, to help calm and relax you.

All of our CBD pillows go through THC testing to achieve their no-THC certification, so you know they're non-psychoactive. They also come with CBD potency, no pesticides, no moisture certifications, and more.

Whether you're new to the CBD trend, or have been using it for a while now to ease your symptoms and enhance your skin, a CBD-infused pillow is an easy way of obtaining the benefits that CBD potentially offers.
